March 90/275 / by Erika Sneeringer

90 days down – 275 to go.

I can’t believe I’ve made it this far.  I admit that a few days this month I felt a little discouraged. Disappointed that I lacked creativity and was taking the same boring photos every day.  It was tough when I worked a lot of overtime. Being stuck at a desk 10 hours a day when there is nothing interesting to take pictures of made it difficult and by the end of the day I lacked creativity.

My husband got awarded Panini King this month. We started off our month with some delicious turkey rubens which made a domino effect of exploring a ton of different paninis.  Including a sandwich that I have named Qarth for the greatest sandwich that ever was and ever will be.  Yes, note to self - I definitely need to work on my food photography.

I celebrated another year getting older.  Don’t count the candles, my kids lost count and just kept adding more until we ran out!

My husband bought me a gorgeous new camera bag for my birthday gift (in addition to the Game of Thrones seasons on BluRay, hence the reference above).  I felt like a crazy bag lady carrying around my beat up old purse and ugly camera bag. Now my camera bag goes with me everywhere in style, plus room for additional lenses and camera gear.

I don’ t know about you, but I’m ready for spring to get here.

I’m ready for warm days filled with flowers, picnics and hiking!   My daughter’s hockey season is over and lacrosse has begun. Fingers crossed that snow is over and hopefully warmer days will bring more rainy afternoons.

Now for more showers to bring Spring flowers!

My favorite part about early spring is all of the spring bulbs.  Tulips are my favorite spring flower and I can’t wait to go visiting all the tulip gardens soon.

I really pushed myself to get through this month and had to force some creative ideas towards the end.

I feel like this pushed me out of a rut and I’m ready for a strong start into April.
