151 down and 214 days to go! It’s hard to image we are almost half way through 2015. April and May flew by faster than I could keep up.
There were definitely times in April when I wanted to quit.
Work was hectic and to top it off we did one home improvement project after another. I was exhausted and could see my photos lacking quality and creativity.
After putting in a patio in our backyard, our lives were a mess. Quite literally – dirt everywhere!
At least our mound of dirt is finally gone and we’ve enjoyed countless relaxing evenings on the patio and a nice long summer ahead of us.
The moments when I thought about quitting, my husband and daughter gave me the supportive urging I needed to keep on. Thanks to them for believing in me when I doubt myself! I still haven’t put the camera down for a day.
Sometimes I just try and have a little fun with it.
I finally got out of the house for a little break from the crazy world and a nice hike, starting my waterfalls of Maryland project.
With May came warmth....
Cookouts, handpicked flowers...
and long evening strolls!
I've discovered my absolute most favorite thing in the world to photograph -- my kids and their happy childhood memories.
Most of all, the love that they have for each other!
Now May has come to an end and summer is near.
Project 365 is the greatest thing I’ve ever done! I’m enjoying documenting the little moments of our everyday life. Life is beautiful.
