A couple times a year I have the opportunity to photograph events for the Cool Kids Campaign. The Cool Kids Campaign is a wonderful organization in Baltimore, Maryland that improves the quality of life for pediatric oncology patients and their families.
Cool Kids helps families through a learning center, care packages, adventures, vacation housing, mentoring, art work and so much more. Everyone involved with Cool Kids is welcomed into their family with open arms and given the belief that if you or a loved one is fighting cancer, You Are Not Alone.
The Cool Kids 10th Anniversary Gala was held at the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore, Maryland. The impressive guest list included charity sponsors, celebrities, oncologists and, of course, the guests of honor were the cancer patients, survivors and their families.
It felt like one giant family party. The kids stole the highlight of the night, breaking out with flash mob dance surprising everyone! The children livened up the party, getting everyone in a dancing mood. The band, Mood Swings, were phenomenal, keeping the dance floor hopping all night long! The spirit of the evening was full of joy as everyone got together to celebrate life, love and most importantly hope.
