Halloween Wedding (Baltimore, Maryland) / by Erika Sneeringer

Happy Halloween and a happy anniversary to this very special couple, Andrea and Jenny!

In May, I had the wonderful of experience photographing Andrea and Jenny’s wedding.  They met on Halloween, so it was only natural to have a costume themed wedding.  A Halloween themed wedding in the middle of May was definitely unique and all of the costumes were fantastic!

The wedding was casual, taking place in Jenny's Aunt and Uncle’s gorgeous home in Baltimore, Maryland.  The wedding was supposed to take place outside, on the lovely pedicured lawn of their 2 acre lot, under a flower covered arch, while listening to the soft flowing water fountains.

However, much like my own wedding experience, mother nature had other plans in mind.  When the rain brought Jenny and Andrea’s ceremony indoors, it did not dampen the mood of the brides or any of the guests.  In fact, it made for a much more intimate affair.

Andrea, being from Austria, wore a German Lederhosen and looked so adorable.  I think we can all agree that Jenny is the most gorgeous bride of Frankenstein ever!  From the DIY decorations and fabulous costumes to the caricature and delicious craft pizza from Joe Squared, this was one spectacular wedding.

Andrea's mother and sister came to Baltimore all the way from Austria. Her sister was the officiant and her costume was perfect!
